    O Muslims, Allah The Most High says which translates as:
    “Remember Me, and I will remember you, give thanks to Me and do not be ungrateful”
    (Al-Baqarah: 152).
    Our duty, we the people of Islam, is that we ponder the concept of remembrance, so that its
    meaning becomes clear to us, and that we may perhaps fulfill its right. Allah says which
    translates as: “So when you have finished the rites of Hajj than remember Allah” (AlBaqarah:
    200).
    Remembrance, O beloved brothers and sisters, is encompassing, it cannot be constrained to

    When the following verse was revealed to the Prophet (Salla Allahu Alaihi Wa
    Sallam): “O you wrapped up (in a mantle)! Arise and deliver thy warning!
    And thy Lord do thou magnify! And thy garments keep free from stain! And
    all abomination shun!” (Al-Muddaththir: 1-5). He stood up in compliance with
    Allah’s command with full reliance on Him and putting complete trust in Him.
    He (Salla Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) called people to worship Allah, making the

    Glorified (and Exalted) be He (Allah) Who took His slave (Muhammad SAW) for a journey by night from Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) to the farthest mosque (in Jerusalem), the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him (Muhammad SAW) of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.). You are in a place which is not meant to last forever, even if your life is lengthy. This life is a bridge for those who will cross it. It is a lesson for those who reflect and take examples and lessons from it. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception and deceiving things. This is a life that leads to death. When you look at the crowds of people, you see nothing but dispersion, and you only hear that so-and-so is ill or that so-and-so has died. Death is evident at all times, and we are neglectful of what will happen to us sometime in the future.

    Oh you who is made for death and yet goes astray. Oh you who has listened to admonitions giving you guidance and advice. Oh you who have indulged in awful sins, won’t you stop, regret, and cry, and open your eyes to see goodness, and walk towards guidance so as to find the true goal into attaining true happiness. If you send and refuse and abandon and turn from the guidance, you will be surprised by your sudden death, and you will be told of your deeds. On the Day of Judgement, you will know who you disobeyed and you will cry tears of blood when remembering your deeds and the pursuits you followed in your life. Allah says:

    { وَجِيۤءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلإِنسَانُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ }
     “…On that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance (then) avail him?” [Surah Fajr: Ayah 23]
